This new Continuing Education (CE) course provides a comprehensive overview of Phase 2 legislative reforms and focuses on how the changes will impact the day-to-day activities of real estate agents and their interactions with buyers and sellers.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Relationships when trading in real estate
  • Representation
  • Content of representation agreements
  • RECO Information Guide and Information and Disclosure to Self-represented Party form
  • Disclosures, consents, and acknowledgements
  • Competing offers
  • Protection of property
  • Professional conduct

The 2024 update course is being released six weeks early to give agents an opportunity to take the course prior to the changes coming into effect on December 1, 2023. Completion of this course will fulfill your requirements of the 2024 Update Course, even if taken in advance. If your renewal date occurs after January 1, 2024, you will have access to your new learning path after you renew, which will also include the 2024 Update Course. Once completed, a completion credit will be applied for the course after you renew. In other words, the 2024 Update Course: Introduction to TRESA only needs to be taken once for completion credit towards your CE requirements.

For eligible registrants: Completion of this course will fulfill your 2024 Update Course requirements, even when taken in advance.

For registrants and learners in the post-registration cycle: You can still complete this course to ensure you are prepared for TRESA, however you will not be eligible to receive credit.

For non-registrants (such as brokerage administrators): You can complete this course for educational purposes to prepare for TRESA.

How to access the course

Log into your MyWeb account for the CE program. When you arrive at the CE site, select the “Learning Record” tab and all courses you are registered in or have completed will display. The 2024 Update Course: Introduction to TRESA will appear as a mandatory offering on the top of your list.

Registrants and learners in the post-registration cycle, and other non-registrants: Please visit Introduction to TRESA (non-credit version) to complete the course.
