The RECO Information Guide is a plain-language explanation of the rights and responsibilities of all parties, developed by the regulator to assist consumers.

The guide contains important information that buyers, sellers, and renters should be aware of before hiring a real estate agent or brokerage or deciding to be self-represented in Ontario.

It is the law for Ontario agents and brokerages to provide the RECO Information Guide prior to offering any services or assistance.
